Our Beliefs at Maple Ridge Community Church (MRCC)
At MRCC, our beliefs are rooted in the teachings of Jesus Christ and the authority of the Bible. We aim to live out our faith in a way that glorifies God, builds community, and brings hope to the world.
Statement of Faith
God: We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Jesus Christ: We believe in the deity, humanity, death, resurrection, and return of Jesus Christ as the foundation of our salvation and faith.
The Bible: We affirm the Bible as God’s inspired Word, serving as the ultimate authority for faith and life.
Salvation: We believe that salvation is a gift of God’s grace, received through faith in Jesus Christ, and not by works.
The Church: We believe the church is the body of Christ, called to worship, serve, and make disciples of all nations.
Core Values
Our kitchen isn’t just for rental; it’s a vital part of MRCC’s commitment to serving our community.
Community
We are a community of Jesus followers committed to growing together in faith and reaching out to the world around us.
Family
We strive to be more than an institution; we are a family of families, offering belonging and love to all who come through our doors.
Relational
We prioritize relationships with God and one another, fostering genuine connections over programs.
Mission
We are committed to sharing the Gospel and serving others locally and globally.
Faithfulness
We aim to live out our faith in obedience to God, reflecting His love and truth in all we do.
Theological Beliefs
MRCC is affiliated with the Mennonite Brethren Conference, which shapes our theological framework.
We emphasize a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ.
We hold a strong commitment to peacemaking, service, and justice.
We believe in baptism as a public declaration of faith and in the Lord’s Supper as a remembrance of Christ’s sacrifice.
